Weighbridge Integration module in Odoo has introduced for supporting organizations having a Weighbridge Machine to Validate the Incoming quantity and outgoing quantity for Processing Delivery Orders and Goods Receipt. This module will also help External Weighbridge operations that is Weighbridge act as a service for the customers, from this the organisation could generate revenue.

Configuring Weighbridge

First we need to configure a weighbridge, where we will update information like below

Internal operations are assumed to be used for the companies operations such as capturing weight of a shipment coming to the company warehouse, and shipment going out from the warehouse

All the relevant informations are connected with the master data configured in Odoo which is integrated with other modules

The module also enable to capture this information in the stock operations so it will help the barriers between the warehouse person and weighbridge person they might be operating from different physical locations

We have also implemented blocking the mismatches of quantity from both of these departments.

External

External weighbridge operation also have the above information and functionality, along with this it enable to provide the weighbridge operation as a service to outside customer. The customer will be charged with a service charge which is defined in the configuration and the information will be passed to the accounts department to verify the collection submitted by weighbridge operator through system and physical.
